We’re creating an exciting new role for a passionate and ambitious Digital Performance Specialist in our Cape Town office situated in Cape Quarter, De Waterkant. We run a hybrid work model between working from home and coming into the office. You will be collaborating with a small talented team of 12 people across the following disciplines: client services, strategy, programmatic media buying & planning, social media, design, content creation, ad operations, CRM and data analytics.
As a Digital Performance Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Ad Ops and Client Service teams, your responsibilities will include implementing campaign strategies, managing various digital platforms, analysing & optimising campaign performance and ensuring the successful delivery of campaign KPIs. This position is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, looking to further honing their skills in becoming a digital performance rock star.
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including search engine marketing, social media marketing, programmatic media buying and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and messaging requirements.
- Implementation of campaigns, including setting up tracking mechanisms, trafficking ads, targeting, set up and managing budgets and schedules.
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools, analyse data, and prepare reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Assist in the testing and optimisation of campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and targeting strategies.
- Stay abreast of latest industry trends, competitor activities and emerging digital marketing technologies to identify opportunities for campaign improvement.
- Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy, providing innovative ideas and suggestions for improving campaign performance and achieving client objectives.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, advertising or related field
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience in digital marketing or campaign management, preferably in an agency
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Programmatic Media Buying, Data Analytics & Insights
- Experience with platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Display & Video 360, Search 360, Google Analytics 4
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, team members and external partners
- Strong time management and organisational skills to handle multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
